Hi, I’m Zakaria.
I use this site to document what I explore across mathematics, AI, computation, and engineering.
I am not focused on a single narrow field. What connects my work is a broader interest in STEM: models, algorithms, physical systems, and the way ideas move between theory and application. That can mean writing about post-quantum cryptography, reinforcement learning, game theory, retrieval systems, the game of Hex, Nash equilibria, or fluid mechanics.
Fields I work across
- Applied mathematics
- AI and machine learning
- Game theory, algorithms, and reasoning
- Engineering, simulation, and physical systems
Outside STEM, I also read philosophy, especially works related to simulation, technology, and modernity.
Projects
- turboquant-embed — TurboQuant algorithm for embedding compression in RAG pipelines
- turboquant-wasm — Rust-to-WASM TurboQuant for browser-side vector search, local-first RAG, and edge runtimes. Instead of sending your documents to a server like Pinecone, Weaviate, etc. to search through them, the entire search engine runs in the browser tab itself via WebAssembly
- GenieFront — Generative vision for front-end development
